Chairman of the National Peace Council, Rev Dr Ernest Adu Gyamfi has called on the National Democratic Congress (NDC) to boycott arrangements for a Citizens’ Arrest Task Force ahead of the elections.
The Ghana Baptist Convention and Shalom Broadcasting Network (SBN TV) have congratulated the Executive President of Ghana Baptist Convention, Rev. Dr. Ernest Adu-Gyamfi on his appointment as the Chairman of the National Peace Council.
President Akufo-Addo has reiterated his administration’s commitment towards ensuring a peaceful conduct of the December 7 general election. He said “a wholehearted” effort is being made to ensure the peace and stability of the nation as it enters the last four weeks of the 2020 electioneering campaign.
President Akufo-Addo has inaugurated new board members for the National Peace Council. During the event, he also pledged the New Patriotic Party’s support to ensure full compliance with the implementation of the Vigilantism and Related Offences Act of 2019.
The Ghana Baptist Convention (GBC) has taken the lead to donate towards the 1000 wheelchairs per region campaign by the Henry Djaba Memorial Foundation. The Convention, led by its Executive President, Reverend Dr. Ernest Adu-Gyamfi at a short ceremony presented four wheelchairs; four Walkers; two Armpit Clutches, and three Elbow Clutches in support of the campaign.
