The President of the Ghana Baptist Convention (GBC), Rev. Ernest Adu-Gyamfi, has appealed to President Mahama to, as a matter of urgency, pay the amount owed them as health insurance service providers.
He explained that the failure to pay their hospitals across the nation money owed them for services they have rendered to subscribers of the NHIS would cripple their institutions in providing healthcare services to all. Rev. Ernest Adu-Gyamfi disclosed that monies owed them by government, as health insurance service providers, is in arrears for eight months.
