Baptist Briefs: Churches burned in Niger

At least 68 churches, two of them Baptist, have been burned in the West African country of Niger. Panlieba Tchalieni, president of the Union of Evangelical Baptist Churches of Niger, reported the church burnings, carried out by Muslim fundamentalist group Boko Haram, occurred in the Zinder region and Niamey. UAPO ships 10K books to Ghana

On Friday, January 23, the Universal African Peoples Organization (UAPO) completed a yearlong project to support the development of a library in the Ashanti region of Ghana, West Africa by shipping over 10,000 books. Baptist NGO commissions Kindergarten for Gbulahagu Community

The Tahima Baptist Child Development Programme, a Non Governmental Organisation in Tamale, has constructed a three-unit kindergarten classroom block for the Gbulahagu Community in the Tolon District of the Nortern Region.
