CONVENTION LEADERSHIP VISITS EJURAMAN COUNCIL

On Saturday 22nd July 2023, the Executive President, Rev. Enoch Nii Narh Thompson led a delegation to meet the Ejurahene, Nana Barima Hwedie, and his Council of Elders.

The objective of the visit was to formally finalize the THANK YOU protocols for the 100-acre land Nana promised the Convention at the 59th Annual Session.

Nana Barima Hwedie and his elders have promised to see to the survey and documentation of the said property immediately. They recounted the beautiful relationship between Ejuraman and the Ghana Baptist Convention since the times of the American missionaries. They stressed their desire and expectations that the Agric College of the Ghana Baptist University College would soon be established on the land given to the Convention.

On behalf of the Convention, the delegation thanked Ejurahene, and prayer was offered by the President

An invitation was also issued to Nana Ejurahene and Council to the 60th Annual Session to be held at the Baptist Women’s Retreat Center from 22nd to 26th August 2023.

Other issues relating to the Convention’s properties in Ejura received positive attention from Nana and his Council.

The delegation was made up of the Executive President, the Vice President, Rev. Charles Oppong-Poku, the Director of Baptist Health Services, Rev. Steven Fokuoh, the Mid-Ghana Sector Head, Rev. Anthony Badu and Rev. Joseph Kwesi Sackey, the Head pastor of Gospel Baptist Church at Ejura.
